School of the Digital Era Program launched at “Argentine Republic” School of Armenia
On October 27, the “Argentine Republic” School of Yerevan launched the School of the Digital Era Program, which was carried out by Microsoft Armenia, in association with the Embassy of Argentina in the Republic of Armenia, Technology and Signs Dynamics, Converse Bank CJSC and the RA Ministry of Education and Science, as reported on the Facebook page of the Embassy of Argentina in Armenia, according to Hayern Aysor. The main goal of the program is to introduce state-of-the-art technologies at the School and create a modern and effective environment in which Microsoft schools of Armenia and other countries will work as a team with appropriate tools. Through the program, all 5th and 6th grade students will receive 2:1 Windows 10 tablets that feature the Office 365, Classroom Mix and Minecraft programs.
The program was launched with an event attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Argentine Republic to the Republic of Armenia Gonzalo Urriolabeitia, RA Deputy Minister of Education and Science Karine Harutyunyan, founder of Technology and Signs Dynamics (TSD) Vahan Chakaryan, Education Director for Microsoft Corporation Central and Eastern Europe Christodoulos Papafotis, Director of Microsoft Armenia Liana Korkotyan and other high-ranking guests.
