Spain’s Malaga recognizes the Armenian Genocide

The City Council of the Spanish city of Malaga has unanimously adopted a declaration officially recognizing and condemning the Armenian Genocide, as reported the press service of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Hayern Aysor.

The adopted declaration describes the events of the early 20th century as a crime against humanity that led to the formation of the large Armenian Diaspora. The City Council of Malaga also expresses its solidarity with all Armenians around the world and states that the City Council will soon place an Armenian cross-stone dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide in the central park of Malaga.
