From October 6 to 8, ahead of the Holy Translators’ Day, at the initiative of the Gevorgyan Spiritual Lyceum of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and the Vatche and Tamar Manookian Matenadaran, the Mother See will host an international conference entitled “The Armenian Translation and Publication of the Holy Book throughout History” and dedicated to the 350^th anniversary of the printing of the Bible in Armenian, as reported the information system of the Mother See.

During the conference, Armenian and foreign historians, experts on rituals and theologians will present analyses devoted to the original copy, history and theology of the Bible.

The opening of the conference, under the chairmanship of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, will be held on 6 October (10:00) in the hall of the Gevorgyan Spiritual Lyceum.

The Sacred Condac of the Catholicos of All Armenians will also be read on the occasion of the 350^th anniversary of the printing of the Bible in Armenian.

The closing ceremony will be held at the “Surp Mesrop Mashtots Dpratun” Scientific-Educational Center in Oshakan on Holy Translators’ Day.
