Teachers are great people!

Today is Teachers’ Day, and I congratulate everyone on this wonderful holiday. Throughout the years, this honorable profession has made me feel proud. After all, a teacher is the one who instills faith in the generations. It is us Armenian teachers who bear the idea of the invincibility of our nation, and it is us Armenian teachers who are the sincere, patriotic and self-dedicated educators of our young Armenians.
Is this self-evaluation, or the conviction that teachers deserve this high ranking? Teachers are the ones who shape the system of values of a nation, and it is hard to find a more grateful job than educating children to help them become full-fledged members of the society. It is us teachers who want to have that honorable ranking with dignity, and so we aspire to be worthy, loved, respected and always understood by our students.
With his personal qualities, awareness of the right values of artistic speech during literature lessons, a new analysis on literary characters, creative thinking and interest in teaching, teachers serve as people whom schoolchildren can follow. They stand out with their teaching experience, perfect knowledge of Armenian, innovations and new discoveries, thoughts about the society and the pride of a truthful intellectual.
The task of a teacher has always been admired and appreciated since a teacher is entrusted with educating a generation and shaping a citizen. A teacher is a person who is concerned about the education and upbringing of the generation and simply tries to lead his students to the truth and to find that truth, not just provide them with knowledge. Once again, I congratulate all teachers, wishing them more advancement in their careers. May each bell rung during the school year be rung for everyone, with the hope to spread more light for what is to come!
