St. Nshan Armenian Church of Akhaltskha now has night lighting
On September 29, night lighting was finally provided at St. Nshan Armenian Church located in the Marta district of Akhaltskha. According to our reliable sources, Governor of Samtskhe-Javakheti Akaki Majutadze had climbed to St. Nshan Armenian Church and had had a conversation with the Armenians living near the church. During the conversation, the governor discussed the technicalities for lighting of the church and painting the rusty cupolas.
On September 16, candidate for majoritarian deputy of the “Georgian Dream” Party Georgi Kopadze met with the Armenians of Akhaltskha and promised night lighting for the St. Nshan Armenian Church. During the meeting, the people asked the deputy candidate to solve the issue of obtaining the right to paint the rusty cupolas and roof as well.
