Russian-Armenian Vazgen Khansanamyan becomes “Ambassador of Russian Language in the World”

Students of the Kuzbas city of Russia have been recognized as the winners of the “Ambassador of Russian Language in the World” contest (part of the “Eurasia” International Youth Educational Program), and one of the winners is our compatriot Vazgen Khansanamyan. The aim of the contest is to popularize and disseminate the Russian language, culture and literature around the world. This year, 3,000 applicants applied for the contest.

Out of the 124 applicants selected by the creators of the program, 47 won the contest, and the students of Kuzbas were recognized as the winners in the final stage. Among the winners were Galina Femintseva (graduate of Kuzbas State Technological University), as well as students of Kemerovo State University Elizaveta Avdeenko and Vazgen Khansanamyan.

Elizaveta is in her third year of studies at the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Media Communication, while Vazgen is a third-year student of the Faculty of State Management and International Relations.

The winners of the “Ambassadors of Russian Language in the World” contest will conduct educational campaigns in Russia and in foreign countries.
