Noubar Yaghoubian: Happy Independence Day, Armenia!
“I express my greetings to you all, my dear compatriots.
Today is the Independence Day of our homeland, and I recite these words with great pleasure and a feeling of pride.
Our homeland is 25 years old. Throughout the past 25 years, the Armenian people have passed and continue to pass a difficult path. However, in spite of the difficulties, the Armenian nation is passing it with honor, the result of which was the establishment of the free Republic of Armenia and the free Artsakh Republic.
Today we are talking about the two Armenian states with great excitement, and we hope the current military state is temporary. May God help the Armenian people never suffer victims, only shed tears of joy and enjoy victories!
On behalf of the Armenian community of New Zealand, we would cordially like to congratulate the Armenian nation on the 25th anniversary of Armenia’s independence. We convey our warm wishes to Armenia, wishing the people peace, success, more victories and unbreakable will.
Happy Independence Day!”
