The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) approved the candidacy of Karen Karapetyan to the position of Prime Minister of Armenia. This was confirmed by Armen Ashotyan, vice-president of the RPA, following the meeting of the party’s Supreme Body. 

“Listening to signals coming from the public, political and other fields, a decision was adopted to go to the parliamentary elections with a new government”,- said Ashotyan and noted, that the candidacy of Karen Karapetyan was adopted unanimously.
