“Made in Armenia – 2016” Expo will Showcase the Production Capacities of Armenia and Artsakh

Initiated by the Development Fund of Armenia, the “Made in Armenia – 2016” will be held at the “Meridian” Expo Center on September 19-22.
As noted during a meeting with journalists by Karen Mkrtchyan, Executive Director of the Development Fund of Armenia, 320 companies from Armenia and Artsakh will participate in the Expo. They cover the industries of food, jewelry, alcoholic beverages, light industries, pharmaceuticals, mining, building materials, precision engineering and the IT sector.
“We have been successful in the sense that we secured quite a large participation and generated interest in the exposition. We also have a wide interest from abroad, participation has been confirmed from many markets of interest for Armenia, besides we have business delegations coming from Russia, Georgia, Iran and a host of Arab countries”,– said Karen Mkrtchyan, according to panorama.am.
In his words, this exposition is a unique report on the production potential and results of Armenia of the past 25 years.
“The main goal of the exhibition is to showcase Armenia’s current production potential, the possibilities of development and the discover new markets. The exhibition is also a very good platform to establish business contacts, to form investment projects and created joint companies, to initiatecooperations between local producers, foreign investors and distributors”,– he said.
Within the framework of the exhibition, Armenia’s Development Fund also organized an economic conference titles “Armenia as a bridge to large markets” to discuss investment project in transportation, pharmaceuticals and agriculture. The conference will bring together public and private sector representatives from Armenia, Iran and other countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. The goal is to present the potential of Armenia’s economy, the benefits of doing business here and promote investment.
