On August 29, Minister of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia Hranush Hakobyan held a consultation at the RA Ministry of Diaspora. Among the participants were RA Deputy Ministers of Diaspora Serzh Srapionyan and Vahagn Melikyan, Chief of Staff Firdus Zakaryan, heads of departments and divisions, the directors of the “Homeland-Diaspora Center” SNCO and the “My Armenia” Pan-Armenian Festival, as well as the editor-in-chief of “Hayern Aysor” (Armenians Today) electronic newspaper.

The heads of departments and divisions delivered reports on the activities that had been carried out within the scope of the programs of the Ministry over the past week.

The participants attached importance to the activities being carried out with Syrian-Armenians and discussed issues on the organizing of the upcoming events.

Minister Hranush Hakobyan assigned to organize the upcoming events properly, particularly the subsequent session of the Inter-Agency Commission on Coordination of Syrian-Armenians’ Issues, the events to be held on the sidelines of the “My Armenia” Pan-Armenian Festival, the 8^th Pan-Armenian Forum of Journalists and other events.

The Minister gave new assignments and designated correspondents and coordinators.
