Legendary French-Armenian singer Charles Aznavour is calling on nominating the heroes of our days for the 2015 Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity.

Aznavour has posted a video on his Facebook page.

Let us add that candidates can be nominated for the Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity between June 1 and September 9.

The goal of granting the Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity is to appreciate those who risk their lives, health and freedom to save and assist those who suffer as a result of the tragedies of our days, especially manmade disasters and crimes against humanity.

The Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity was established by the creators of the 100 LIVES initiative and is granted on behalf of the survivors of the Armenian Genocide as a token of appreciation of those who saved them.

The second annual Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity will be granted on April 24, 2017 in Yerevan.
