On August 27, the Madonna del Monte shrine in the Italian city of Yesena hosted an event commemorating Armenian composer Komitas. During the event, active member of the Armenian community of Italy, Head of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Italian affiliate, Professor Baikar Svazlian delivered a lecture, after which Italian musicians performed songs on the Armenian duduk, as reported the Armenian community of Italy to Hayern Aysor.

The event was held in the inner square of the shrine that is rarely opened for mundane people.
