The position of the Armenian parties is clear: Nagorno-Karabakh can’t be within the composition of Azerbaijan.

This is what Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharyan told journalists after the government session when asked what the Armenian party demands and expects from Azerbaijan.

“Our goal is very clear. Nagorno-Karabakh can’t be within the composition of Azerbaijan. The security of the people and state of Nagorno-Karabakh must also be guaranteed. Those two questions are clearly stated and much has been said about them. As far as the details are concerned and how this can be achieved, that is a different issue that is conditioned by the position of the other party, and the position of that party is very crude. In these conditions, it is simply pointless to talk about the details,” Kocharyan said, according to Artsakhpress.
