Georgian presidential candidate Shalva Natelashvili introduced Georgian-Armenian community to his pre-election platform
On October 18, Georgian presidential candidate Shalva Natelashvili had a meeting with representatives of the Georgian-Armenian community at the “Hayartun” Educational, Cultural and Youth Center. After Nino Burjanadze, Mr. Shalva was the second presidential candidate who met with the Armenian community during his election campaign on the sidelines of the series of debates and meetings organized by “Hayartun”.
From the outset, Shalva introduced voters to his views on the ways of solving the key issues facing the country and particularly focused on the need of improving the social conditions, consolidation of the countries of the Caucasus, the need to disband the regime of invitations for visits that Russia has set for Georgian citizens and more. Shalva also mentioned the centuries-old Armenian-Georgian relations and underlined the importance of developing those relations.
After his speech, the guest answered the questions concerning the gathered and expressed willingness to take part in similar meetings after the October 27 presidential elections.
