New element to be named after Huri Gebeshian
Female gymnasts have debuted at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
For the first time in history, Armenia’s woman representative, Huri Gebeshian scored 53.748 points in the triathlon and failed to pass the qualification stage, as reported the news department of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia, according to Hayern Aysor.
A new element that she performed during the drill on parallel bars will be named after Huri Gebeshian. Before starting the drill, Gebeshian pushed herself on the first pole and held the other pole as she spun 360 degrees.
