337 Egyptian MPs submit Armenian Genocide resolution

On July 25, Egyptian Member of Parliament Mustafa Bikri submitted to the Parliament of Egypt a resolution that officially recognizes the Armenian Genocide. The resolution has been signed by 337 Members of Parliament, writes Muhammad Mejdi Al-Sisi on Al Yaum Al Sab website, as reported Hayern Aysor.

Bikri calls on the Parliament of Egypt and the United Nations, as well as different international bodies to officially recognize and condemn the Armenian Genocide that was perpetrated in the Ottoman Empire between 1915 and 1922 and took the lives of 1.5 million innocent and unarmed Armenian civilians.
