Naregatsi Art Institute to host vocal arts master class

On August 2 at 19:00, Director of the U.S. Chapter of the International Association of Singers, choirmaster of the American National Choir, Armenian American pedagogue, Professor Vagharshak Ohanyan will give a master class devoted to vocal arts at Naregatsi Art Institute, as reported the Naregatsi Art Institute to Hayern Aysor.
Vagharshak Ohanyan teaches at the New York Professional Performing Arts School and has performed as a solo artist at the New York City Opera, as well as with the American Symphony Orchestra of the Lincoln Center and the orchestras of Boston and Rhode Island.
Professor Ohanyan was recently awarded with the Grigor Narekatsi Commemorative Medal for the significant work that he has done in the arts.
To participate in the master class, participants need to have two works (classical or musical in original tone, unwritten), show up at Naregatsi Art Institute (16/1 Vardanants Street) before 23 July and fill out an application, attaching a CV, an up-to 5-minute recording (doesn’t have to be of high quality) and 2 print copies of the works.
