Participant of “Armenia. Create Together” youth forum: “I will contribute to Armenia’s empowerment by strengthening my contacts”

Before getting accepted to the Department of Physics and Programming at the University of Chicago, Hasmik Grigoryan studied at Ayb High School and went on to study at the American University of Armenia through a one-year Bachelor’s program.

As Hasmik says, the Luys Foundation always provides her with opportunities to participate in such forums like the first “Armenia. Create Together” youth forum, which she considers a good occasion to meet young Armenians from different parts of the world.

During the forum, she established close ties with the other participants and discussed how they can help Armenia abroad. The students and moderators exchanged data so that they could keep in touch and work together in the future.

“The organizers of the forum had prepared the agenda in a way to make sure we had as many meetings, conversations and discussions as possible, and I am very grateful for that. During the forum, we visited different sites. I am especially impressed with the visits to Synopsys and Viasphere Technopark,” Hasmik said in an interview with Hayern Aysor and added that she felt at ease in Armenia and had set the goal to carry out her activities on the native land. She says if the IT sector isn’t perfectly developed in Armenia by the time she graduates, she will strengthen her contacts in Armenia and abroad so that she can work in both directions and contribute to the stabilization and empowerment of Armenia.
