On July 18, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan held a consultation with Deputy Ministers Serzh Srapionyan and Vahagn Melikyan, Chief of Staff Firdus Zakaryan, heads of departments and divisions of the RA Ministry of Diaspora, the directors of the “Homeland-Diaspora Center” SNCO and the “My Armenia” Pan-Armenian Festival and the editor-in-chief of “Hayern Aysor” (Armenians Today) electronic newspaper.

The heads of departments and divisions delivered reports on the activities that had been carried out within the scope of the programs of the RA Ministry of Diaspora over the past week, the implementation of the “Diaspora” Summer School Program and the “Ari Tun” Program and the current problems and indicated the steps that would be taken to solve those problems.

The Minister attached importance to proper organizing and coverage of the “My Armenia” Pan-Armenian Festival and the need to solve the problems related to the opening ceremony of the festival quickly and effectively.

Issues related to the organizing of upcoming events were also discussed.

The Minister gave new assignments and designated correspondents and coordinators.
