Founding shareholder of LegalLab Legal Boutique, Head of the Center for Excellence in Negotiation: Yerevan (CEN Yerevan), lecturer of the American University of Armenia Stepan Khzrtian moderated the final session of the first “Armenia. Create Together” youth forum during which he held various discussions entitled “Developing Armenia” with all the participants of the forum.
“Participating in this forum was close to my heart because the idea of ensuring the relationship between the current human, material and non-material resources in Armenia and all Armenians around the world lied at the core of this forum, and that is the same ideology of the Luys Foundation. As we know, this partnership leads to new and tangible results that have a positive impact on not only Armenia, but also the whole world. It was very important for me to participate in this forum, taking into consideration the fact that the same idea lied at the core of this forum,” Stepan Khzrtian said in an interview with Hayern Aysor.
Stepan believes the three topics of the forum (“Advocacy and Media”, “Medicine and Health” and “Engineering and Technology”) were current and important. He noted that the youth of Armenia and the Armenian Diaspora were rather seriously focused on the discussions and hands-on activities and that this was surely commendable.
“All the major issues were touched upon during the general discussions, and our national agenda was revalued and became more crystal clear with respect to pan-Armenian interests.
During the four-day forum, we started giving more correct formulations and understanding what we mean by saying pan-Armenian interests in Armenia and the whole world. Of course, the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide and reparations and the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict were the major issues on the list,” Stepan Khzrtian assured and added that, alongside all this, the youth were also highly focused on pan-Armenian interests, particularly the development of economic cooperation with the superpowers of the world, the preservation of the Armenian identity, as well as the development and strengthening of relations between Armenia and the Armenian Diaspora.
