Statues of anti-Armenian Turkish politicians placed in yard of Armenian church of Sivrihisar
The Turks have opened a museum of the status of famous people in the yard of the Holy Trinity Armenian Church located in the Sivrihisar province of the Eskishehir state of Turkey, as reported Turkish presses, according to Akunq.net.
According to the source, the idea of creating such a museum in the yard of the Armenian church was presented back in 2011 when then Turkish Minister of Culture Ertughrul Gyunay had made an announcement about the construction project.
According to the source, the statues of anti-Armenian Turkish political figures Ataturk and Kyazim Karabekir, as well as writers Yashar Kemal, Yunus Ener, Karacaoglan and about 100 other figures are presented in the yard of the Holy Trinity Armenian Church, also known as Kizil Kilise (Red Church) for being built with red stones.
