On June 22, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Holy Apostolic Church of Egypt, Bishop Ashot Mnatsakanyan, who is in Armenia on the occasion of the visit of Pope Francis to Armenia and has brought with him the soil and water of Egypt, the country with the oldest Armenian community in the Diaspora.
The sides discussed the visit of the Pope, the current state of the Armenian community of Egypt, the development of the Armenia-Diaspora partnership and other issues.
