An Azerbaijani citizen, Valiyeva Zogra Vardzarkizi (born in 1977), on Tuesday crossed the Armenian border in the Mehrab direction of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
The woman is a of Yanikli village of Azerbaijan’s Tovuz province, Head of the Working Group of Armenia State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons, Armen Kaprielyan, told Armenian News – NEWS.am.
Currently relevant checks aimed at confirming additional information regarding the mentioned person, as well as circumstances of her crossing to the Armenian side are underway.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Yerevan delegation has been duly informed about the incident.
