City of Nalchik celebrated International Children’s Defense Day

The city of Nalchik of the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria of the Russian Federation also celebrated International Children’s Defense Day on June 1, as reported the Armenian community of Nalchik, according to Hayern Aysor.
Representatives of other ethnic communities also attended the event entitled “World of Dreams” and congratulated Armenian children. After reciting poems, the children posted postcards on the “Tree of Dreams” and wrote their dreams on those postcards.
Lilit Israelyan presented her poems, singers Lana Shahbazyan and Anahit Poghosyan entertained the attendees with several songs, and Aghbyur Dance Ensemble performed Armenian dances.
The life and career of the Poet of All Armenians Hovhannes Tumanyan were presented as part of a celebration of his 147th birth anniversary.
Let us add that the children had also organized an exhibition-sale showcasing their works and transferred their donations for the treatment of children suffering from blood cancer.
Members of the community granted gifts and certificates to the participating children.
At the end, the parents also expressed their words of gratitude to the organizers of the event and attached importance to the fact that they granted such happy and unforgettable moments to their children.
