Expert: Armenia should achieve international condemnation of Azerbaijani vandalism

No issue of Nakhijevan exists in the state policy of Armenia, Honored Culture Worker of Armenia, Argam Ayvazyan, stated Friday.
In his words, at the initial stage of Karabakh movement, the issue of Nakhijevan was discussed, but following that it became of no importance to the Armenian authorities. Over 27,000 Armenian monuments were destroyed in Nakhijevan, the Armeniologist noted. “Armenia has never been consistent at the international level, not being able to achieve condemnation of that vandalism by Azerbaijan,” Ayvazyan said.
