Artsakh recognition issue is one of the main topics of the 27th ADLP General Assembly of Delegates

The Diaspora needs the homeland, and the homeland needs the Diaspora. This is what Chairman of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party (Ramgavar) South America Chapter Sergio Nahabedian told journalists before the 27th General Assembly of Delegates of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party (Ramgavar) (ADLP) today and said it was worth mentioning that this was the first time that the 94-year-old political party was holding an assembly of delegates in the homeland.
Nahabedian informed that the meeting has gathered 17 representatives from 19 chapters of the political party. “There are many items on the agenda, but the most urgent and the most key issues are the state of the Syrian-Armenians and the preservation of the Armenian identity in the Diaspora,” Nahabedian said.
The chairman of the ADLP South America Chapter set aside the issue of recognition of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic as one of the main topics of the assembly. “Each of us needs to work closely with the government of our respective country so that we can advance the issues related to Artsakh. Alongside that, we also need to strengthen the bonds between Armenian organizations abroad,” he said.
Chairman of the ADLP Canada Chapter Ivjin Karajian informed that the party has a chapter in Artsakh that helps maintain relations with Artsakh. “Currently, we are trying to help Artsakh at least through fundraisers,” writes panorama.am.
