Armenia to send combine harvesters to Artsakh to organize harvest

On May19, Minister of Agriculture of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Aram Mkhoyan, with the accompaniment of Deputy Minister Gevorg Veranyan, paid working visits to Askeran and Martakert regions.

In Askeran region, Mkhoyan met with the region’s farmers, machine operators and employees of the regional department of the Service for Emergency Situations (SES) adjunct to the Government and discussed issues on organizing the harvest without suffering any losses, as reported the NKR Ministry of Agriculture.

According to Mkhoyan, there will be no problem with the equipment required for organizing the harvest since the Republic of Armenia will be sending combine harvesters.

After visiting the machine/tractor station in Askeran, Mkhoyan headed towards Martakert region where he conducted monitoring in the wheat and vegetable fields.

The working visit ended with a visit to the Askeran station of the Water Economy CJSC where the Minister met with the organization’s administration and employees. Technical and organizational issues were discussed during the meeting.
