Русский“Nayiri” Armenian Sport and Cultural Union holds event dedicated to the 24th anniversary of the liberation of Shushi
On May 13, the arts unit of “Nayiri” Armenian Sport and Cultural Union of Tehran held an event dedicated to the 24th anniversary of the liberation of Shushi, as reported the Public Relations Department of the Union, according to Hayern Aysor.
The event began with a speech by Arsineh Bonyadian, followed by reciting of poems by the New Century Reciting Club of “Sipan” Armenian Cultural Union led by Angel Minasian and a performance by Lusineh Mikayelian’s Komitas Choir.
The keynote speaker was editor-in-chief of Alik Daily Derenik Melikian. At the end, President of the Union Fredik Ashughian gave thanks and expressed words of encouragement.
