Today marks the 24th anniversary of the Armenian community of Omsk

May 14th marks the 24th anniversary of the creation of the Armenian community of the Russian city of Omsk. As reported Hayern Aysor, the community’s president Gaiane Hakobyan has sent her congratulatory message to the members of the community.

“Dear compatriots, in spite of all the difficulties, I ask you to never forget that the blood of an Armenian flows through your roots and your children’s veins. Be healthy and happy and stay true to your roots in this foreign land. Love our native language, as well as our songs, dances and history. Don’t forget that even though we are far away from the homeland, we need to unite as one and show the world that we are united and invincible,” the congratulatory message reads.
