Armenian Ministry of Defense: 20-year-old soldier killed right after OSCE monitoring

On the evening of May 11, 20-year-old serviceman Armen Martirosyan died from the opponent’s gunshot at one of the military units of the Defense Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic stationed in the northern direction right after the monitoring of the OSCE.
Armenia’s Ministry of Defense has issued a press release about this.
“It should be mentioned that the incident took place just hours after the monitoring conducted by the OSCE mission in the Martakert region of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic on the same day. This goes to show that the Azerbaijani party ignores the mediating efforts for a resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue and is showing once again the need for speedy introduction of mechanisms for investigation into incidents,” the press release reads.
