РусскийBasque director’s film about Armenian Diaspora to be shown at San Sebastian Film Festival
Ahead of the 101st anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, Basque film director Juanmi Gutierrez’s new documentary entitled “The Voice of the Armenian Diaspora” will be shown at the 14th San Sebastian Film Festival.
As reported Hayern Aysor, the film is about memories, the love for the country and touches upon the Armenian Genocide. The problems of the Armenians are presented in the testimonies of the protagonists.
The film director has visited Armenia and has learned about the culture and lifestyle of the country. Talking about the Armenians, the director says the people of Armenia have suffered a lot, are very hospitable and those who visit Armenia will definitely fall in love with the country.
