Young Iranian-Armenians hold event with the spirit to state Armenian Genocide claims

On the morning of April 18, several male and female students of the Intermediate Circle of Armenian Schools of Tehran and Friday courses gathered at Sasuntsi David Hall of Ararat Sport Center to pay their tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide, as reported Alik Daily, according to Hayern Aysor.

The laying of wreaths and flowers by the Board of Education of the Armenian Diocese of Tehran was held as part of the students’ program during which they performed and stated their claims.

They laid flowers and, as representatives, a smaller circle of students paid their respects in front of the cross-stone eternalizing the memory of the martyrs of the Armenian Genocide. The message of Prelate of the Armenian Diocese of Tehran, Father Archbishop Sepuh Sarkisian to the students was read during the event.

The event included poetry and performances of songs by a choir and film screenings. The students screamed slogans on the symbol of the day that placed more emphasis on and symbolized the Armenian Cause.

The event ended with a performance of the song “Sardarapat”.
