Los Angeles woman receives threatening note after hanging Armenian flag

An Armenian woman said she received threats after hanging an Armenian flag from her home in Los Angeles in honor of her fallen heroes in Armenia.
According to Los Angeles police, Hasmik Chatalyan said she discovered a threatening note in her family’s mailbox,according to News.am abc7.com reported.
“You will be hurt,” the note reads.
The police are investigating the act as a “hate incident” and that hate crime charges could potentially be brought in the future.
The Chatalyan family, however, kept the Armenian flag and hung the second one. They also urged other Armenian families to hang Armenian flags.
