Requiem Service performed in Prague in memory of the victims of Artsakh

On April 10, at the Holy Spirit Church of Prague, a Requiem Service was performed in memory of the Armenian soldiers killed in Artsakh, as well as in memory of those who were deceased and are now deceased, as reported Orer magazine, according to Hayern Aysor.

After the ceremony, spiritual pastor of the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia, Archimandrite Barsegh Pilavchyan addressed the attending Armenians and stated that the Armenians are crying out to God. “Our brave soldiers managed to defend the borders of our homeland by facing evil. It seems as though there was a light that had come to not only our borders, but also to all Armenians around the world. May God have our martyrs on his right side and may their souls rise to heaven,” Father Barsegh said. He also called on the attendees to be united, never be depressed and to pray for this war to end soon.

In his turn, Armenia’s Ambassador to the Czech Republic Tigran Seyranyan talked about the latest events and provided information about the events to take place in Prague. The Ambassador also informed about the bank accounts opened by the Government of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic to assist Artsakh and mentioned that those wishing to make donations may do so by transferring them to those bank accounts.
