During an anti-Armenian demonstration at Sergelstorg Square in Stockholm, Vice-President of the Turkish National Association of Sweden Barbaros Leylani made calls for violence against the Armenians and made offensive statements.

As the Armenian community of Sweden reported to Hayern Aysor, the irresponsible behavior filled the Swedish-Armenians with indignation, and some individuals have already appealed to the police with an accusation and have demanded taking adequate actions to bring Leylani to justice. Swedish-Armenian structures, organizations and ecclesiastical unions will also submit complaints to the police soon.

Let us add that Barbaros Leylani said the following in his speech: “If the Armenians want blood, then we will shed their blood and make it flow like the rivers.”

It is these kinds of uncalled-for statements that made the Armenians of Sweden angry and wrathful.
