ISIS has prohibited Armenians from leaving Raqqa

ISIS is prohibiting Armenians and other Christians from leaving the capital that it has proclaimed, reports Fox News, citing the Twitter post of the secret group reporting about the events taking place in ISIS-controlled territories.

It is assumed that there are nearly 40 Christian families living in Raqqa who pay jeeza (the tax for infidels) or the protection of their safety.

“All Christians in Syria and Iraq are in a very dangerous situation. We want the Christian Church to continue to exist in the Near East, especially in the regions seized by ISIS,” President of Open Doors American Christian law-defense organization David Carrey told Fox News, reports armradio.am.
