Yerevan retirement home new building is constructed with Kuwait funding

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Hovik Abrahamyan, was on hand at the official opening of the new building of Yerevan Retirement Home No.1 for elderly care and rehabilitation.
The new building was built with funding from Kuwait.
The event also brought together the Minister of Awqaf (religious properties) and Islamic Affairs of Kuwait and Minister of Justice Yaqoub Abd-Almohsen Al-Sane’a, Armenian Minister of Justice Arpine Hovhannisyan, Armenian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan, and representatives of the diplomatic corps.
Abrahamyan toured the new building, which will be supplemented with all necessary equipment.
In addition, it will be possible provide medical services in this building for 72 bedridden persons
The PM lauded the Kuwaiti side’s initiative to assist in the construction of the new building of this retirement home, and expressed a conviction that such projects will contribute to the strengthening of friendship between the Armenian and Kuwaiti peoples.
Also, Hovik Abrahamyan underscored the Kuwaiti minister’s current visit to Armenia, and added that such mutual visits enable to explore the avenues for the development and deepening of Armenian-Kuwaiti relations.
