On March 20, the congregates of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin participated in the Evening Liturgy officiated by His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians at the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin, and the Opening of the Doors (Drnbatsek) Service was performed during the liturgy, reports the Information Service of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
In front of a closed curtain on the Main Altar, congregates of the Mother See, His Eminence, Father Bishop Mushegh Babayan, Rev. Father Supreme Archimandrite Shahe Ananyan and Rev. Father Archimandrite Partev Barseghyan sang the psalm “Open Us, Lord!” (Bats Mez, Ter), after which the curtain of the Main Altar was opened.
