Armenian 5900BC trademark presented its collection in the Russian market

Created with the support of the Development Foundation of Armenia and the UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the Armenian 5900BC trademark is presenting its Fall/Winter 2016-17 Collection at the CPM international fashion show in Moscow from February 23 to 26.

As reports the news service of the Development Foundation of Armenia, this collection of 8 Armenian clothing companies represented under a common trademark are presented under the title “Winter Charm” at the Collection Premiere Moscow show. Most of the more than 17,000 visitors expected to visit the CPM show in Moscow will be fashion and sales experts.

“In a short period, the task force worked hard, developed and created three collections of high-quality clothes that have been presented at different international exhibitions. The task force has also established business relations with the largest Russian fashion producers and sellers. The trademark is already competitive, and evidence of that are the offers from large international networks for exports,” Executive Director of the Development Foundation of Armenia Arman Khachatryan mentioned.

After the previous fashion shows, eight large international organizations and trade networks are currently negotiating to obtain several samples of the Armenian trademark. The sides are discussing orders for exporting dozens of products that cost more than several millions of dollars. The 5900BC trademark was created thanks to the joint efforts of Italian and Armenian experts and with the support of the UNIDO.

The name of the trademark is symbolic and is linked to one of the oldest trademarks in the world, the 5,900-year-old skirt that was found in the Areni village of Armenia.
