РусскийArmenian boxers to not participate in World Boxing Championship in Baku
Due to security considerations, Armenian boxers will most likely not participate in the World Boxing Championship to be held in Baku.
As press secretary of the Armenian Boxing Federation Yervand Hakobyan told “Armenpress”, the Federation will issue a statement on this soon. The tournament will be held in May and will be based on ratings. Currently, Armenian boxers don’t have passes to the Olympic Games. The only rating tournament for scoring a pass to the Olympic Games will be the European Boxing Tournament set to kick off in Turkey on April 7.
