The adversary continued violating the ceasefire along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces, from Wednesday to early Thursday morning.

During this time the Azerbaijani armed forces fired over 700 shots at the Armenian military positions, and by way of rifle weaponry.

The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Ministry of Defense informed that the adversary also made use of a mortar, in a northerly direction of the Line of Contact.

As a result of the actions taken in response by vanguard units of the NKR Defense Army, however, the aggressive “activeness” by the adversary was quelled.
