The situation in the region is tense, and whereas on the one hand, there is no need to make things more complicated, on the other hand, we shouldn’t take the development of events for granted. This is what hero of the struggle for the liberation of Artsakh and Major-General Arkadi Ter-Tadevosyan (Commandos) said during a press conference, reports yerkir.am.

According to him, the situation is so complicated in the region that Turkey has been thinking about taking some action against the Russian Federation for a long time now. “I must say that Turkey has always gotten out of the most complicated situations. It might have been the most dirtiest way, but it has gotten out of those situations.”

According to him, Armenia shouldn’t underestimate the enemy and refer to its actions as ��?caviar diplomacy’, but rather assess the situation correctly.

“True, we don’t want a war, but if a war breaks out, Azerbaijan will simply be eliminated since the situation in Azerbaijan is such that something may explode at any moment. Look, Armenia doesn’t dney the fact that our missiles are targeted directly at the oil mines in Azerbaijan, and I think you can imagine the amount of damages that Azerbaijan will suffer from the explosion of those mines. What are they going to bomb, our nuclear power plant? The nuclear power plant is located in such a place that Turkey will suffer more from the bombing than Armenia. That’s why Turkey is leading a struggle to  close the nuclear power plant down,” Ter-Tadevosyan said.
