RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan participated in the consultation summing up the results of the activities carried out by the Ministries of Defense, Education and Science, Sport and Youth Affairs, Culture, Diaspora, Health, Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia and the Police of the Republic of Armenia for military and patriotic education in 2015.

During the consultation, the mentioned government agencies delivered annual reports on the events and activities that were organized and carried out last year with the purpose of raising the military spirit and the patriotic spirit of Armenian youth.

The Minister of Diaspora awarded active members of the Union of Volunteer Land Defenders NGO Ara Ketikyan, Liparit Tigranyan, Hamlet Hayrapetyan, Seyran Tsaturyan, Arman Grigoryan and Vardan Vardanyan with certificates of the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia for contributing to the development of the Armenia-Diaspora partnership, as well as for their contributions to providing the generations with a military and patriotic education.

Editor of the “Hayern Aysor” (Armenians Today) online newspaper of the RA Ministry of Diaspora Nayiri Meguerditchian was granted the Land Defender of Armenia Commemorative Medal of the Union of Volunteer Land Defenders, and Head of the Department of Information of the Homeland-Diaspora Center SNCO Astghik Asatryan was granted the certificate of the RA Ministry of Defense for their professional advancement in and fruitful efforts for the patriotic education of the young generation.
