As Hayern Aysor had reported earlier, on January 17, terrorist groups dropped missiles in the Mushieh, Azizieh and Saat Allah Jabri districts of Aleppo, causing damages to the Emmanuel Armenian Evangelical Church located in the Mushieh district. Fortunately, there are no victims, but the church has been damaged.
As reports Hayern Aysor, in an interview with a correspondent of an Arab television network, chairperson of the Council of Armenian Evangelical Churches of Syria, Rev. Harutyun Selimyan reported that the church had suffered serious damages. “The missiles mainly damaged the roof and benches of the church. True, the church has suffered serious damages, but we will renovate it, meaning we will stay in this country. Fortunately, the explosion took place hours after the liturgy, thanks to which there were no victims,” Rev. Harutyun Selimyan mentioned.
