Germany specifying countries whose refugees will be denied, Armenia is also on the list
The government of the federal land of Bavaria wishes to expand the list of countries whose refugees’ applications will be denied. Armenia is also on the list to be submitted to the government.
During a government session, Minister of Internal Affairs of Bavaria Joaquim Herman announced that the concept of countries of dangerous origin was especially appropriate for denying shady applications quickly and avoiding violations of the rights to receive the status of a refugee, writes Süddeutsche Zeitung, according to Artsakhpress.
Among the countries on the list are Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, India, Mali, Mongolia, Algeria, Gambia and Bangladesh. These are the countries whose citizens’ applications are rarely accepted by the Federal Service for Refugees and Migration. The applications of the citizens of these countries are accepted in less than 10 percent of cases.
The country where there are no political persecutions is considered a safe country.
Let us remind that the German federal government is discussing the issue of defining stricter laws for refugees following the attacks on women on New Year’s Eve in Cologne, Germany.
