An Armenian pilot had an extraordinary accident on Highway 23 in the Moorpark area of California.

As reports ktla.com, the light plane, the pilot of which was Sevak Sargsyan, made an unscheduled landing on the freeway at a peak hour for traffic.

“We had a problem with the engine. So, we needed to make a landing,” said Sargsyan as he commented on his landing, as reports tert.am. He also added that his main concern was the safety of everyone on the ground.

The source adds that Sargsyan was on a training flight with a student pilot.
