РусскийTurkish athlete asks Putin to punish the ruling party, not the Turks
Turkish athlete Nasuh Mahruki has posted a comment on the Russian-Turkish crisis on his Twitter microblog which, according to Milliyet, has caused uproar on Twitter.
As reports ermenihaber.am, Mahruki wrote: “I have a request for Putin. Let the Justice and Development Party, which planned the attack, pay the price for the attack, not Turkey or the Turkish people.”
Let us mention that the leader of the above mentioned political party is Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu.
The athlete’s comment has caused great uproar among Turkish Twitter users and has become a topic for heated debates.
