On November 13, the “Nuard” Armenian Cultural Union, which is a member organization of WostAYN, organized a photo exhibition with the title “The Slaughter of the Cross-Stones of Julfa” at the RIX Cultural Center in Antwerp, Belgium. The nearly 40 photos showed how Armenian cross-stones were created in Julfa and how they were barbarously eradicated, reports the news service of the “Nuard” Armenian Cultural Union of Belgium to Hayern Aysor.

During the exhibition, President of “Nuard” Armenian Cultural Union Gevorg Minasyan delivered a lecture in which he talked about the history of the cross-stones of Nakhichevan and Julfa, the Moscow and Kars Treaties, the Azerification of Nakhichevan, as well as the destinies of the Armenians of Nakhichevan and the cross-stones.

The exhibition included screenings of two multilingual documents that also provided visitors with information about the barbarities of the Azerbaijani authorities against Armenian historic and cultural monuments.

The visitors also received informative materials related to the issue.

The exhibition was organized by “Nuard” Armenian Cultural Union, and as President of the Union Gevorg Minasyan mentioned, the Union plans to organize exhibitions in other cities of Belgium and in neighboring countries.
