Turkish presses are actively discussing the routes that President of Syria Bashar Assad took to reach Moscow.

In particular, Hurriyet emphasizes that the Kremlin spread information about the visit upon Assad’s return and presents three possible territories over which the Syrian President could have passed in order to reach Russia, writes ermenihaber.am.

The following are the three possible routes mentioned in the Turkish newspaper:

1. Syria-Iraq-Iran-Armenia-Georgia-Russia

2. Syria-Iraq-Iran-Central Asia-Russia

3. (Least likely) Mediterranean Sea-European countries-Black Sea-Russia
