On September 28, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received Chairperson of the Central Committee of the AGBU “Andranik” Armenian Youth Association Vigen Cherchian, who talked about the Association’s activities and presented the booklet recapping those activities.
Minister Hranush Hakobyan praised the activities and mentioned that modern methods and opportunities need to be used to help young Diaspora Armenians preserve their Armenian identity and that there is a need for measures that will help raise the level of their national dignity and self-awareness.
The sides discussed issues on ensuring the active participation of the members of the Armenian Youth Association in the programs that are carried out by the RA Ministry of Diaspora.
